Condition: Used – good Classic 1988 Boston Whaler Newport 17 powered by a 2009 Yamaha 90 HP four-stroke outboard with low hours. A great example of the iconic 17-foot Boston Whaler hull with the distinctive Newport configuration, offering more seating and wind protection than the traditional open Whaler layout. The Yamaha has been recently serviced and has a brand-new fuel filter. The boat sits on an EZ Loader galvanized trailer, which is included in the sale. This Newport retains much of its classic character, including the wraparound windshield, stainless bow and cockpit rails, reversible pilot bench, forward seating area and traditional wood trim. A large black bimini provides excellent shade over the helm and cockpit. The boat is ready to enjoy as-is and would also be an excellent candidate for someone who wants to gradually restore the cosmetics of a classic Whaler. It shows normal cosmetic wear for its age, including wear to some upholstery, woodwork and finishes, which is reflected in the photos. Highlights: 2009 Yamaha 90 HP four-stroke with low hours; recently serviced; new fuel filter; EZ Loader galvanized trailer; large bimini top; classic Newport side-console configuration; wraparound windshield; stainless rails; reversible pilot bench; forward seating; classic wood trim; bilge pump and navigation lights. Boston Whaler’s classic 17-foot hull has earned a devoted following for its durability, stability, versatility and famously foam-filled construction. This is a great-sized boat for Puget Sound, lakes, fishing, crabbing or family cruising, while still being easy to trailer and launch. Boat, 2009 Yamaha 90 HP four-stroke and EZ Loader trailer included.
