Condition: Used – good I believe it’s a 1981, will have to look at the USCG doc. These are cool fiberglass hulls, and very efficient. I brought this boat down from Juneau two years ago. Was planning to fix it up for a good efficient local cruiser, but am finding myself with other higher priority projects. Some upgrades that set this boat apart are: -prone to leak back door/scuttle replaced with all fiberglass custom built scuttle and AJR aluminum/glass door -Original unreliable Audi diesel replaced with 4 cylinder turbocharged Yanmar incl reduction gear. The engine has around 1600hr at this point. -original wood caps and guards replaced with UHMW incl all high quality stainless fastenings. -3rd fuel tank added to engine room, allows for extended range. -Dickinson Newport bulkhead heater and Dickinson stove added. -Good electronics, including recent Furuno autopilot, pump, etc. What it needs: Mostly cosmetic work. The plywood that makes up the walls of the cabin is bad in some areas. If I kept it, I’d glass in 1/2” foam core. I’ve never tried the water heater, but imagine it’s non-op. Same goes for anchor windlass. There’s just odds and ends that will need to be addressed. It smells like fuel inside because a leaking valve to one of the racers went undetected. It’s a cool and spacious boat with lots of good and expensive upgrades. It’s very efficient….bellingham to Gig Harbor was 19 gallons of fuel. I’ve done lots of sport trolling with it. It trolls down great, and is easy to fish. There’s an autopilot control on the back deck so you can steer back there while fishing alone. My price is firm.
